The X-ray diffraction RTP at Warwick offers state-of-the-art X-ray scattering services, primarily for material research. We are probably unique in the UK in having most X-ray  scattering techniques under one roof. This includes powder XRD, single-crystal XRD for small molecule structural solution, high-resolution XRD, an XRF system (elemental analysis from B-U) and XAFS for chemical environment. A dedicated SAXS instrument is available for polymer/nanomaterial research, including liquid dispersed nanoparticles, gels, powders and thin films (GISAXS). Our highly knowledgeable and experienced team has multi-disciplined expertise, offering a range of services, including phase ID, structural determination, elemental analysis, in-situ diffraction and more.
