The Faculty of Science ICP service offers elemental analysis for a wide variety of materials across multiple disciplines. With microwave assisted acid digestion we can digest all but the most challenging samples, from plant tissues and plastics to silicates and metal ores. We can measure many elements down to ppm level, on two ICP-OES instruments, and can reach ppb/ppt level using ICP-MS.
This service is available for students, researchers and industry users.
