The SAgE Mass Spectrometry Facility was established at Newcastle University in 2018, following investment of over £300k to consolidate the chemistry, chemical biology, and geosciences mass spectrometry capabilities into a single core facility. Focussing on the analysis of ‘small molecules’ (50-2000 Da), we’re proud to offer access to a range of mass analysers and separation techniques that can provide internal and external customers with quantitative and qualitative information for a wide variety of compounds; whether they are isolated molecules or present in a complex mixture.
