The Royal Free Imaging Suite is an interdisciplinary core facility for UCL departments at the RF campus and further afield. Our expertise includes sample preparation and imaging of biological substrates, cells, engineered/3D printed matrices, bioengineered scaffolds and nanoparticles.
The facility houses a range of instruments: Fluorescence microscopes, Aurox Clarity LED spinning disc and Leica TCS SP8 confocals, Zeiss Sigma 300 with SEM, STEM and EDS, Zeiss EVO MA10 with EDS and microCT, a Hitachi HT7800 120kV TEM with EDS and tomography, AIST OmegaScope AFM and Horiba XplorerPlus Raman Training and support from experienced staff is provided to all users
