PaCIFiC provides specialist cryo-imaging workflows for vitrified biological samples, combining plunge freezing, cryo-confocal microscopy, and correlative cryo-imaging support. The facility enables screening and targeting of cells, tissues, and microorganisms on EM grids, including CL2-compatible workflows where appropriate. We support users with experimental design, sample preparation, vitrification, cryo-fluorescence imaging, and downstream pathways towards cryo-electron tomography and related methods. PaCIFiC offers both technical expertise and access to specialist instrumentation, helping researchers develop robust cryogenic imaging workflows for challenging biological questions.
