Our Powder XRD Facility offers detailed phase characterisation of polycrystalline materials for wide-ranging applications. Equipped with fast detectors, Cu-Kα X-ray sources, auto-sampler, and a latest software package for data analysis, we provide context-specific services for both researchers and commercial clients. Through PXRD, we study crystallinity and existence of polymorphs, crystallite sizes, phase purity and composition as well as quantification in some cases. A high-temperature stage allows data acquisition from 25–1200°C in air whereas zero-background holders for ambient XRD enable handling of low sample quantities, especially relevant for nanoparticles.
