The Institute for Regeneration & Repair Biomolecular and Assay Core Facility offers customised production of viral vectors alongside automated assay services. The Biomolecular Core provides access to advanced techniques and procedures; with expertise in quantitative real-time PCR, manipulation of lentiviral vectors, production and packaging of recombinant AAV and fluorescence scanning. The Assay core specialises in optimising and validating immunoassays, with automated analysers for steroid and protein hormones, and biochemistry analytes. We have experience in human or mouse serum or plasma, but also saliva and urine from a range of mammalian species (giant panda, polar bear, elasmobranchs, tiger) or TC media.
