Since 2004, the national biomolecular NMR facility at the Henry Wellcome Building for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (HWB-NMR) offers expert and non-expert academic and industrial users across the UK access to a range of high-field solution-state NMR spectrometers (500-1200 MHz), including the UoB/EPSRC/UKRI-funded 1.2 GHz & 1 GHz, and solid-state capability at 1.2 GHz & 900 MHz. The facility supports internationally competitive biomedical research in areas of structural biology, metabolic profiling, and drug discovery. The facility also offers training, as well as other national user events, such as NMR Boot Camp, Masterclasses and user meetings.
