Hot Robotics provides access to advanced robotic technologies, specialist facilities and technical expertise for research and industrial projects in challenging environments. Delivered through a collaboration between the University of Bristol, University of Manchester, UK National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL) and UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), the facility offers robotic platforms, sensors, testing environments and specialist support. Researchers and industry can access equipment and expertise for projects ranging from early-stage development and testing through to demonstration and deployment. Hot Robotics supports collaboration, enables new applications to be explored and helps accelerate the development and adoption of robotic technologies within the nuclear sector.
