Deep Seq: Next Generation Sequencing Facility

Home » Showcase » Deep Seq: Next Generation Sequencing Facility

The sequencing facility offers research scientists access to state of the art high-throughput sequencing technology. Our experienced team of dedicated experimental scientists and bioinformaticians offer support for a wide range of library preps and applications, and we include support on experimental design, sequencing and bioinformatics as required. DeepSeq houses the Illumina MiSeq and the Element Biosciences AVITI platforms, both of which can supply single or paired reads from 75 to 600 cycles. DeepSeq are experts in the long-read Oxford Nanopore Technologies platforms, including adaptive sequencing and run the MinION, GridION and PromethION platforms. DeepSeq also runs the Bionano SaphyrII for optical mapping as well as the 10X Genomics Chromium for single cell applications. We also work with groups on 10X Genomics spatial transcriptomics projects. Our newest addition to our services is the Levicell 96, our label-free cell and nuclei enrichment system utilising magnetic levitation to separate viable cells for single-cell, multi-omic and sequencing workflows. DeepSeq also houses the SeqStudio24 for sanger sequencing, fragment analysis and cell line authentication.
