CSAR operates 17 recirculating aquaculture systems and some of the most comprehensive algal bio-technology facilities in the UK. CSAR has controlled environment facilities in Swansea University’s department of Biosciences. CSAR conducts research and technological development, and provides training and advice on behalf of commercial farmers/aquaculture service providers, funding agencies and governmental institutions, in the UK and internationally.
